📜 everdraft rules

1. General Format

  • Each user participates in a single league.
  • Each gameweek, you face a head-to-head (H2H) opponent.

2. Draft Rules

  • Draft squad: 15 players (2 Goalkeepers, 5 Defenders, 5 Midfielders, 3 Forwards).
  • Maximum 3 players per real-life Premier League team.
  • After drafting, managers can edit their starting 11 until the gameweek deadline.
  • No transfers allowed!

3. Lineup Requirements

  • Must start: 1 Goalkeeper.
  • Minimum: 3 Defenders, 3 Midfielders, 1 Forward.

4. Drafting Process

  • The player marked as “Home” in the matchup picks first.
  • Draft follows a snake order: A → B → B → A → A → B → ... until both players have selected 15 players.
  • Draft timer: starts as soon as either player enters the draft room. Don’t worry:
    • The pick timer is 3 days per pick—until there are 3 hours or less before the Gameweek deadline.
    • Once under 3 hours to deadline, each player has 6 minutes per pick.
    • If a player doesn’t pick in time, an autopick system selects the available player with the highest ownership for them.

5. Player Scoring

  • Players earn points based on the official Fantasy Premier League (FPL) scoring system.
  • Twist: players earn a bonus based on their ownership rate.
    Everdraft Points = FPL Points + [30% x FPL Points x (100 - Ownership%)]Long story short:
    •     If a player is     0% owned, if they score 10 FPL points they will get 13 Everdraft points!
    •     If a player is   50% owned, if they score 10 FPL points they will get 11.5 Everdraft points!
    •     If a player is 100% owned, they are good on their own, no extra points for them!
    Long story shorter:
    • The more differential, the more fun!
  • Ownership% is based on official FPL ownership at the deadline.
  • Final player points are rounded to 2 decimal places.

6. Match & League Scoring

  • Each gameweek is a head-to-head match between two managers.
  • League Points:
    • Win: 3 points
    • Loss: 0 points
    • Exact Draw: 4 points each 🤯
      I mean, manage to draw with 2 decimal place scoring system and you are worth it, aren't you?
      🚫 Match fixing not allowed! Picking non-playing players to force 0-0 or similar attempts will be reviewed, and zero points will be awarded.
  • No tie-breakers — no home/away rules, cards, or goal difference.
